Celebrating the connection between
communities and conservation
Addressing gender inequity is essential to success in conservation. Women in conservation need a space to intimately connect, learn from and support each other to effectively pursue their purpose.
If we are to raise conservation to be a thriving movement, then diversity, equity, and inclusion needs to be embedded into the DNA of conservation organizations. Gender diversity is essential to ensure equitable and just conservation outcomes. Women with Resolve is a path to that space.
1) researchers and educators, and members of non-governmental organizations, government agencies, municipalities, members of Tribes and First Nations, practitioners, and consulting groups who work within the conservation field and
2) who identify as women, femme/feminine-identifying, genderqueer and non-binary
3) and who crave authentic relationships in an safe space
Women with Resolve (WWR) offers women in conservation fields an opportunity to deeply connect with each other while creating a community of practice. Within this safe space, participants will foster ongoing dialogue related to the issues that women continue to face while working within the conservation field, where they can lean on each other, and find sanctuary and encouragement for collective conservation progress.
